Homemade laser-cut acrylic token markers for Suburbia plus expansions with the original iconography from the games (you place these on the tiles and can easily scan for which tiles will change/be affected and the quality is amazing) for $45: Here it is on their site, I found it for cheaper somewhere else but I'm having trouble finding out where that was. It makes the board look cool and you feel like your really capturing resources when you park a settlement by a field of sheep. So when you score a resource just pluck your sheep off of the tile and add it to your herd in your hand. Players build by spending resources (sheep, wheat, wood, brick and ore) that are depicted by these resource. On each turn dice are rolled to determine what resources the island produces. It includes wheat, stone, brick, wood, and sheep (among a bunch of other things) which can be placed on the hex around the # marker rather than in a messy card pile. In CATAN (formerly The Settlers of Catan ), players try to be the dominant force on the island of Catan by building settlements, cities, and roads. It's a wooden organizer with all kinds of wooden resource tokens and some Agricola meeples. So what items do you guys use (which may not even be Boardgames related) to make a more unique experience?Įdit: Since people are asking about the Mayday tokens, meeple may be the wrong word.
